In this episode, Gary discusses how to beat burnout. Gary does not believe in the idea of burnout. He believes that there are a number of factors that add up to create what is known as burnout. Mental, emotional and physical exhaustion from doing tasks and activities you don’t enjoy in your business will lead to anxiety and stress. Burnout is rooted in anxiety and living in a stressed reactive state, which leads you to make poor decisions, not operate at your best and procrastinate. Gary spent 10 years pushing against things in his business rather than working smartly and doing things that are most suited to his skillset. If you are doing work that you love and enjoy, burnout will not be something you experience.
